1. Definitions
- "Bequora" or "We/Us/Our" refers to Bequora, operating from 64 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Khlong Tan, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.
- "Service" refers to any course, workshop, or organisational service offered by Bequora, including but not limited to the Family Heritage Mapping Course, Records Organisation Service, and Legacy Storytelling Workshop.
- "User" or "You" refers to any individual who accesses this website or engages with Bequora's services.
- "Content" refers to all text, templates, materials, exercises, and guides provided by Bequora as part of a service.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions together with any service-specific scope or agreement provided prior to engagement.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or engaging Bequora's services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and that you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use this website or engage our services.
3. Service Description
Bequora provides heritage-related educational courses, organisational services, and storytelling workshops. These are:
- Family Heritage Mapping Course — A guided education and research activity (฿3,600 per person)
- Records Organisation Service — Practical document organisation support (฿12,500 per engagement)
- Legacy Storytelling Workshop — A multi-session personal writing and heritage activity (฿25,500 per participant)
Services are available to individuals based in Thailand and may be conducted in person in Bangkok or online via video call. Bequora does not offer legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind as part of its services.
4. User Responsibilities
When engaging with Bequora's services or website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information at the time of enquiry and engagement
- Engage respectfully with all Bequora staff and facilitators
- Not share, reproduce, or distribute Bequora's proprietary materials without written permission
- Not use this website or its content for unlawful purposes
- Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the operation of this website
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, and all materials, templates, and guides created by Bequora and provided as part of a service, remain the intellectual property of Bequora. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for the purpose for which they were provided. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish them without prior written consent.
Content you create during a service engagement — including written stories, personal records, and heritage maps — belongs entirely to you.
6. Payment Terms
All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. Payment is required in advance of each service or agreed in writing prior to commencement. Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation with more than 7 days notice: full refund
- Cancellation with 3–7 days notice: 50% refund
- Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice: no refund
- If Bequora cancels a session, a full refund or rescheduled date will be offered
- Rescheduling requests made with more than 48 hours notice will be accommodated where possible at no additional charge
7. Service-Specific Terms
Courses and Workshops
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment
- Session dates are agreed in writing prior to commencement
- Bequora does not issue formal academic qualifications or certificates
- The number of sessions per service is as described on this website; additional sessions may be arranged at additional cost
Records Organisation
- Scope of the engagement is defined in writing before work begins
- Physical documents are handled with care and returned at session close
- Bequora does not provide legal advice on documents handled during the service
8. Disclaimers
Bequora's services are provided in good faith and with care, but we make no representations that any specific outcome will result from engagement. Heritage mapping, storytelling, and records organisation are personal activities; results depend substantially on the information and participation provided by the client. Nothing in our services constitutes legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Bequora's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of our services or website.
Force majeure: We are not liable for failure to perform services due to events outside our reasonable control, including illness, natural events, or government action.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bequora harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these terms or from your unlawful or negligent use of our services or website.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement with written notice. In the event of termination by Bequora due to client misconduct, no refund will be provided for sessions already completed. In the event of termination for any other reason, any unused, prepaid sessions will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.
12. Dispute Resolution
We encourage informal resolution of any concerns or disputes. Please contact us first at [email protected]. If informal resolution is not possible within 30 days, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand, and governed by Thai law, including the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 where applicable.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the full agreement between you and Bequora regarding the subject matter herein.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without prior written consent from Bequora.
- Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or by post to our Bangkok address.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued engagement with Bequora following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify existing clients.
